The Administrative Assistant is responsible for receptionist duties and assisting with administrative, finance, and operational duties. This position serves as a mid-level relationship role and provides administrative support to members of the Community Engagement team and CEO. The Assistant’s responsibilities include campaign support, relationship management, database administration, maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, providing customer service and handling other tasks to ensure efficient team functioning and maximum support for constituent relationships of all team members.
Managing data tasks include, but are not limited to, inputting inbound data to ensure that all data in the central organizational database is properly formatted. Candidate must be comfortable with technology.
Additionally, the position provides the opportunity for an individual with interests in the nonprofit sector, communications, writing, and design to gain an understanding of United Way goals, philosophies, branding and communication techniques. A successful Assistant will demonstrate a strong team orientation and a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
