About the opportunity:
As the main point of contact for all visitors to Fire & Rescue Services, you will be responsible for answering inquiries from the public and directing them to the appropriate source, providing a broad range of administrative support including payroll, statistical data entry and reporting, organizing and maintaining filing systems and other records as well as providing workload relief to the other administrative positions within the Division.
About your background:
Your high school graduation is supplemented by a post-secondary accounting course and a minimum of three years of related office administration experience including payroll, data entry and records management. You also possess exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills along with the ability to work discreetly with confidential information. Your strong time management and organizational abilities along with your superior computer skills with Word and Excel will allow you to effectively manage a demanding workload. You also possess a valid full privilege Class 5 BC Driver’s License (or out of province equivalent).
