About The Opportunity:
As a key member of the management team at the RCMP Detachment, you will oversee the provision of support services to the RCMP in the areas of file management, statistical reporting, victim services, court liaison and exhibit custody functions. You will participate in the administration of assigned budgets; hiring, training and supervising municipal employees; interpreting collective agreements; and acting as a liaison between the RCMP and various municipal departments. Success demands a strong emphasis on collaboration, communication, and establishing and maintaining positive, professional working relationships.
About Your Background:
We are seeking a high-energy team player preferably with a degree in Business Administration or a related field and at least five years of related experience paired with supervisory experience within a unionized environment. You must have strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to handle situations with sound judgment and discretion. Strong computer abilities in Windows based environment are also required. Previous experience in a police environment as well as in managing budgets would be beneficial. As a condition of employment, you will be required to obtain and maintain a RCMP Reliability Clearance.
