About The Opportunity:

We are looking for experienced Equipment Operators and Truck Drivers to join our winter seasonal snow removal operations team. Working for the City’s Roads & Fleet Division, you will perform skilled work in the operation and minor servicing of heavy duty trucks and equipment. Along with a commitment to safety, you are a customer-focused team player. Shift Work is required. The start date will be weather dependent.  Permanent (seasonal) winter positions are subject to layoff and are recalled annually.

 

About Your Background:

You have a valid, unrestricted B.C. Driver’s License ‑ Class 3 with Air Endorsement (or out of province equivalent) and a Driver’s Abstract that reflects a safe driving record.  Along with one year of experience you are qualified to operate equipment and/or trucks safely and efficiently.
