Industrial Relations Officer (IRO)
$66,900.01 – $94,600.06 annually
The anticipated starting salary is $70,000 annually.
Industrial Relations Officers investigate alleged employer contraventions of the Employment Standards Act or Temporary Foreign Worker Protection Act as part of the Employment Standards Branch. The nature of the work is diverse and complex. Industrial Relations Officers manage demanding caseloads while also improving awareness and knowledge of employment standards in the Province. As senior level investigators, Industrial Relations Officers also mentor and train Employment Standards Officers on investigative techniques and best practices.
