Prince George Youth Custody Services provides custody as well as remand and pre-court detention for male and female residents in custody under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
This role provides consultation, advice, guidance, and recommendations in complex situations after assessment of clinical issues which may be unique, or which involve many variables, such as court dates and security concerns. The Nurse is involved in problem resolution, evaluating the effectiveness of policies / services, and developing new approaches to resolve emerging or complex issues affecting the residents and staff. This role is also responsible for community liaisons to provide continuation of care.
