About the opportunity:
The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and supporting community action on a wide range of healthy city priorities related to housing, mental health, addiction, equity, inclusion and social well-being. Based out of City Hall and the Community Safety Hub, the incumbent works closely with Bylaw Services Officers and representatives from other allied service providers. The incumbent will also support related projects, such as peer engagement and employment.
About your background:
The successful candidate will hold a diploma in Human Services, Healthcare or a related discipline along with a minimum of two years of related experience. Demonstrated experience working in a role that requires collaboration, community building, planning and organization, project delivery and experience working with vulnerable individuals is required.
