Public Safety Technician Job in Prince George, BC

PUBLIC SAFETY TECHNICIAN – (Permanent, Full-time)

NATURE OF POSITION: Working under the general supervision of the Manager of Public Safety, the Public Safety Technician provides technical expertise on E9-1-1 telephone and centralized fire/rescue dispatch and communication systems. The work is primarily project oriented and requires attention to detail and good organizational skills. The Public Safety Technician provides supervision to service contractors. Evening and weekend work may be required.

RATE OF PAY: $36.78 per hour (January 1, 2021 rate)

BENEFITS: In accordance with the Collective Agreement with C.U.P.E. Local 1699. This is a Union position.
