Sawmill Clean Up Job in Prince George, BC

 If this appeals to you, we are looking for hardworking individuals for clean up positions at the Tabor Sawmill and Planer.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

• The ideal candidates will be hardworking individuals with proactive attitudes who are able to work Graveyard Shift.
• They are willing to always learn and embrace new concepts.
• They will have the ability to work well with others at all levels and should be a motivated, self-starter.
• Prior sawmill experience is preferred.

THE DUTIES:

The ideal candidates are responsible to perform the physical duties involved with cleanup and other entry level duties in sawmill and planer environments including, but not limited to:

• Sweeping and shoveling, walking on even and uneven surfaces, pushing a wheelbarrow and using a power saw.
• The candidate must be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Preference will be given to candidates who exhibit attention to detail, a safety-conscious attitude, and impeccable attendance.

Wage rate of $32.09 and is per the collective agreement.
