SUPERINTENDENT SOLID WASTE OPERATIONS – (Permanent, Full-time)
NATURE OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the General Manager of Environmental Services or their designate, the Superintendent Solid Waste Operations coordinates, organizes, leads, and directs a wide range of services, programs, and projects related to solid waste management including active landfills, closed landfills, and transfer station operations.
The Superintendent supervises and monitors the performance of assigned employees and contractors, is accountable for the safe and efficient use of Regional District resources equipment and materials, and the administration and evaluation of service and construction contracts.
