Age: 30

Emily Parsons is the owner and principal photographer at Emily Jane Photography. She started her photography company six years ago in her parent’s basement. Since beginning on her own, Emily has evolved her business to a team of collaborators and like-minded artists housed in a gorgeous studio.

“Emily’s moto, ‘Change how one woman perceives herself, change an entire community’ rings correct in everything she does,” says one supporter. “Every woman who walks through her studio doors walks out a more confident and powerful person. She specializes in bringing out the inner beauty and sparkle that each woman has inside of her.”

From humble beginnings, Emily moved her small photography business (“Emily Parsons Photography”) in Dawson Creek to Prince George just five years ago. From there, her client list grew exponentially, and she became synonymous with fine wedding photography in Prince George, rebranding as “Emily Jane Photography”. Her images and the stories they tell provide value that lasts a lifetime.

Emily’s supporters can’t stop gushing about her. “Emily Parsons is the hardest working woman I’ve met and it shows in everything she does, “says another. “Her business has been one of the most talked about businesses in Prince George over the last two years. Her images have created buzz with all different age groups. Residents and local businesses of Prince George are lining up for a chance to collaborate with her.”

Emily supports many different causes in the community in whatever way she can, whether it be offering up her services free of charge to an engaged couple who lost everything in a fire, to donating portrait sessions to support the local dance festival, to volunteering her time and talent to Prince George Equine and Animal Rescue.

Emily is dedicated to helping other talented photographers reach new levels of success and work/life satisfaction and encourages many different types of artists with her mentoring programs.
