2018/19 Top 40 Under 40 finalist – Kyle Sampson

Kyle Sampson
Manager of Northern BC
Pacific Western Brewing
Age: 25

Anyone can raise a pint to salute the achievements of Pacific Western Brewing, BC’s fiercely loyal, doggedly independent home-grown brewery, and there are many people credited with its success. One of those is Kyle Sampson.

“Kyle amplifies what being a young entrepreneur is all about,” says one supporter. “In my experience of working with him, I have seen how he manages his professional development, his businesses growth, and his widespread community involvement. Kyle is incredibly outgoing and is always looking to help better our community.”

Kyle had worked in marketing, event management/development, communications, and broadcasting for ten years in several different roles. He moved into a marketing management role in early 2016. That same year, he was awarded the Hell Yeah Prince George Ambassador Award at the 2016 Prince George Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards. Kyle has used his experience and hands-on knowledge to advance his career in ways to offset the lack of degrees or diplomas.

“If an opportunity is available, I step up into a leadership role where my expertise and experience will be utilized effectively,” says Kyle. He gets involved in his community as often as he can by offering his expertise to several organizations including as a director at the Prince George Chamber of Commerce, a committee member at Ness Lake Bible Camp, a committee member of the Relay for Life, and a liaison officer for the ESS Emergency Evacuation Centre.

“My abilities and skills have given me a platform to strive and succeed within my career and volunteer networks. I am driven to build and grow business, as well as better the community I live and work in.”
