Managing Partner & Consultant
Wellesley Consulting Group (WCG)
The owner of Kask has a vision, an artistic eye, and it shows beautifully in the décor, the magnificent solid wood table, the reclaimed railroad track under the bar, and the rustic but generous beige lighting. The food matches that attention to quality. As a craft beer tasting room and test kitchen located in the heart of downtown Prince George, Kask has quickly become one of the top trending dining spots in town, all thanks to the courage of its owner.
That owner is Ross Birchall, a remarkable young man that accomplished more in his 20s than most. Ross has been a proud Rotarian from ten years of age, serving as president for the 2016-2017 year. He is also the chair of the Business Development Task Force and the board director with the Downtown Prince George Business Improvement Association.
In addition to all of the above activities, Ross is the owner of the Wellesley Consulting Group, a boutique consulting firm specializing in business and economic development, strategic and sales planning, material design, marketing, public relations, and project management for a variety of private and public-sector clients. Although located in downtown Prince George, Wellesley’s reach extends much farther.
Before his current success, Ross attended the University of Northern British Columbia and worked in a variety of sectors including industry, hospitality, and non-profit. He is also a registered lobbyist in the Province of BC. Relationship-building and client care while managing outcomes and expectations with a variety of individual personalities and working styles are two of Ross’s key strengths. This has led to exponential revenue growth in several private sector companies and volunteer organizations under his leadership.
