Sunny Kullar is a proud graduate of the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC). At the age of 29, he has already demonstrated a profound influence in the local, provincial, and international business landscape. As the Chief Financial Officer for the Brink Group of Companies, Sunny manages the finances, accounting and corporate strategy for several large-scale companies, which combined, employ over 350 people. 

While completing his Bachelor of Commerce, Sunny began working his way up the corporate ladder at TD Canada Trust. In 2011, he was acknowledged by TD as one of twenty up-and-coming young leaders and future executives in BC. He continued his education and successfully passed the Common Final Examination in 2016, which is a requirement to attain the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation; he has over ten years of finance experience.

With a passion for entrepreneurship, Sunny isn’t afraid of a busy schedule. He is the founder of two companies – a manufacturing operation that produces cedar fence panels as well as a complementary wholesale distribution arm.

As the CFO of Brink Group, Sunny is a driver of both the development and execution of their corporate strategy. His primary responsibility is to oversee the company’s financial position and profitability. The most recent organizational achievement he led was the acquisition of Vanderhoof Speciality Wood Products, making Brink the 13th largest forestry company by employment in BC. In addition, he led Brink Group’s acquisition of Boardwalk Properties, a local real estate firm.

Sunny shares Brink’s vision in supporting local athletes and non-profit organizations. Through the Brink Group, he provides sponsorship to local athletes as well as sponsors several community events such as Boogie with the Stars, Relay for Life, PG Triathlon, Iron Ore Classic and Storm the Hill.
