About the opportunity:

The focus of these positions is to provide lifeguarding functions, instruct swimming lessons, assist in the operation of an aquatic facility and respond to a variety of customer requests and concerns.  The hours are flexible and varied involving morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts. The purpose of this posting is to develop a contingency list of pre-selected qualified candidates to fill existing or future vacancies in the position. The City will review applications on an ongoing basis.

About your background:

You have completed Grade 10 as well as current certificates and awards as follows:

• National Lifeguard Award – Pool Option
• Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Instructor

• • Eight (8) hours of teaching experience.
• Standard First Aid/CPR-C/AED

The following awards will be considered an asset:

• Lifesaving Instructor Award
• Certified BCRPA Aquafit Instructor
