Immigrant Services Society of BC - Career Paths for Skilled Immigrants
Since 1972, ISSofBC has been providing a variety of support services for immigrants and refugees to help them get settled, find employment and learn all they need to know about starting their new lives in Canada. The Prince George office was established at 150 Brunswick Street in September 2017 and is accepting new clients for the Career Paths for Skilled Immigrants program.
Career Paths provides newcomers with the opportunity to translate their skills, qualifications and experiences into the local labour market, enabling successful connections with employers. This program aims to bridge immigrant’s pre-arrival experiences to goal employment. Funded by both Federal and Provincial governments, Career Paths is the latest employment bridging program in BC.

Intrepid Careers focuses on inclusive, data-driven recruitment. They work with professionals seeking permanent placements in finance, business, and administration.

Kopar Administration Ltd.
Since its inception in 1997, Kopar has provided successful, results-based employment services for both Federal and Provincial governments by working collaboratively with unemployed, nervously-employed, or under-employed Canadians – including youth, older workers, individuals on Provincial assistance and those receiving Employment Insurance benefits.
Northern Immigration Services
Northern Immigration Services (NIS) offers immigration and settlement services to all kinds of people with immigration matters. NIS works with an immigration law firm that provides its clients with the best immigration advice and services such as: sponsorship applications, temporary foreign workers, visitor visas, student visas and all other immigration matters. Prince George Nechako Aboriginal Employment and Training Association
The Prince George Nechako Aboriginal Employment and Training Association (PGNAETA) was formed in 1993 as a nonprofit society mandated to serve the Aboriginal community in the field of Human Resource Development in the geographical region described as North to Fort Ware (Kwadacha), East to Valemont/McBride (BC/Alta border), West to Fort Babine (Smithers) and South to Hixon, BC. PGNAETA works collaboratively to aid the Aboriginal workforce to participate in the shifting labour market in today’s economy.
Skilled Trades Employment Program
The Skilled Trades Employment Program (STEP) is a no-fee employment program that works to match potential workers with employers, assists eligible people by presenting them with opportunities for training and employment, and works with new employee and employer matches to ensure a good employment fit.
WorkBC
WorkBC was created by the provincial government to help British Columbians navigate the province’s labour market. WorkBC helps people find jobs through its job board, explore career options and improve their skills. The resource also helps connect employers with skilled candidates they need to grow their business.
