Fall is unarguably the most gorgeous time of year in Prince George.
As the air becomes crisper and days shorter, there are still a multitude of activities to participate in.
Enjoy the colour changes strolling through local parks, hiking with the Caledonia Ramblers or paddling on the water and casting a line. And don’t miss the opportunity to get in your last camping trip! You can even view the autumn night sky and learn about the changing constellations at the PG Observatory.
If it’s too chilly for outdoor antics, cozy up inside and have some fun! Trench Brewing has ongoing Trivia Tuesday’s, Deadfall Brewing has live events, Nancy O’s hosts Open Mic Nights and the Legion and Nelly’s Pub feature live bands. If you love board games there are local cribbage nights at the Hart Pioneer Centre and Wednesday board game nights at 3 Goblins Games.
Fall concerts are continually hosted at CN Centre, the Knox Performance Centre and Omineca Arts Centre.
As spooky season sets in, Hunniford Gardens offers a pumpkin patch, fall markets and even a Fright Night.
Huble Homestead and the Central BC Railway & Forestry Museum are in on the spooktacular seasonal events too!
Don’t miss your holiday shopping opportunity at all the craft fairs happening each weekend or take a walk downtown to support local retailers. Plus, everything pumpkin is available at local coffee shops to satisfy that fall craving.
