About the opportunity:
In this technical position, you will oversee subdivision applications, development agreements, and engineering reviews for municipal infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include intake, coordination, inspection, and closeout of development-related infrastructure work. The role may concentrate on building permits, subdivision applications, or both, ensuring that all projects comply with city standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer service to the development community and the public.
About your background:
We are seeking a highly motivated professional with a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and eligibility for certification as an AScT of BC. Ideally, you hold a designation as an Applied Science Technologist (AScT) (or out of province equivalent). Additionally, you have at least two years of previous experience in a civil engineering environment along with a customer focused approach. A valid full privilege Class 5 BC driver’s license (or out of province equivalent) is required.
