About the opportunity:
Under the direction of the Records Supervisor, you will review requests for access to police records and provide information in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. You will be privy to highly confidential and sensitive information and must always display the utmost discretion and professionalism. Through the course of your duties, you may be exposed to extremely graphic and disturbing materials and photos.
About your background:
You have completed Grade 12 and have two years of experience working with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act in a paralegal environment. Along with knowledge of information and records management systems, you have superior attention to detail and can obtain and maintain a clear Enhanced Reliability Status. Previous experience in a police environment and knowledge of RCMP policies and procedures are considered assets.
