Fall is a time to celebrate the changing of the season, with bountiful harvests and colourful leaves. To make the most of our beautiful September days, take on one of these upcoming events we rounded up together in partnership with Tourism Prince George.

Glass Blowing

Play with fire and create your own piece of glass art at Canada’s only mobile glass studio. Glass House Xperience is rolling into Prince George for two weeks to give folks the opportunity to try their skills at glass blowing. They are offering everything from kid’s classes to two hour sessions and two day workshops – there’s something for everyone.

Downtown Fallfest

Take in the autumn harvest with the beginning of a month-long Downtown Fallfest. Look for exciting downtown experiences, activities at all three bustling markets, and unique restaurant specials across the downtown core. Full event details launching on September 19.

Campers Cup

With a three week fishing tournament scheduled – fishing season is far from over! Kicking off on September 10, anglers can compete for prizes by catching fish anywhere in our northern region (freshwater only). Plus, you’ll get bragging rights on the real-time leaderboard.

Trashion Show

Two Rivers Gallery is bringing back the ever-popular Trashion Show in 2020! The show is now virtual, so online guests can partake in the event through the Gallery’s social media accounts and witness the creative upcycling artists have created with materials originally destined for the landfill or recycling. There will also be a live Q&A with Trashion Show participants on September 26.

Scavenger Saturday at Huble Homestead

This fun activity will have you exploring the homestead with your social bubble or family as you all work together to find the items on a scavenger list! However, the list doesn’t just include things to find – there are also a number of tasks your group will have to complete before staff will declare you finished.

CornFEST

Visit Le Cercle des Canadiens Français de Prince George and enjoy their Annual Corn Fest. Have some fun before school begins, and discover if you’re the fasted corn eater in town. Picnic boxes and a full take-out menu option are also available. Collect your meals between 3-4 pm.

Comedy Nights

Bring a little cheer to your day, and enjoy a meal and a fresh comedy shows at the Grand Trunk. Tickets range from $5 to $20, with shows on various Fridays and Saturdays throughout September.
