Spring break fun for the kids

The second week of spring break is here and with the rainy slushy weather we’ve been having, outside options haven’t been great for the kiddos who are complaining of boredom.

Lucky for you, there is a tonne of indoor events and activities happening this week.

Read on for our top suggestions of things to do in Prince George for the second week of spring break 2018.

Public skating at the Rolling mix Concrete Arena or the Elkscentre Arena

Skating is great exercise and is one of those activities where the more equals the merrier.

Pack up your crew, invite some extras and head over to either indoor rink.

Spring break Creativity Camps at Two Rivers Gallery

For children who are creative, the Two River Art Gallery is a great choice.

The Spring Break Creativity Camp offers kids the chance to draw and paint using various materials. The camp runs from March 26th-29th, so make sure to sign up this weekend.

Spring break science at Exploration Place

Critters, fairy tales and beasts are all part of the week-long Science Alliance Camp at Exploration Place.

Live science demos, critter feedings and critter meets are also available during the day.

Spring break day camp at the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club

Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, games, and crafts – oh my!

Day camps are open to ages 6-12 on March 26th and 28th.

Half days run from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon and full days from 9:30 am to 3:300 pm.
